Care Package for Sarah Hope

We are still OVERFLOWING WITH JOY!
HG and I packed a special care package for Sarah Hope.
It should reach her in 6 - 10 days.
Her birthday is the first week of December. I hate that we will not be with her.
But, we will have many more birthdays to celebrate in the future.
I am trusting that our Heavenly Father has His arms wrapped around our precious girl!

DTC Celebration!

We celebrated our DTC by going to eat... Mexican!
I know that is a little strange, but HG and I really needed chips and cheese dip!

Just like her Daddy!

Guacamole!
HG just realized that she loves it!
It also makes for a really gross picture! LOL!

DTC

We are DTC!!!!!
For those who are not familiar with Chinese Adoptions, that stands for Dossier to China. The dossier contains our entire life story.
It has taken A LOT longer than we expected, but we know that it is for a reason!

This is the AMAZING MICHELLE!!!
She is INCREDIBLE!
She is preparing our dossier. I received the paperwork on Monday (from the Chinese Consulate). She met with me IMMEDIATELY to work on everything!
WHEW!
All finished!

PARTY!!!!
WE ARE OFFICIALLY DTC 11/17!!!

More Roll Tide

HG modeling one of her newest outfits.
NaNa made her this absolute, gorgeous "Roll Tide Outfit."
Actually, we are recycling her 18 month jeans by adding ruffles.

Pumpkin Patch and Halloween

NaNa and HG at the Pumpkin Patch
Riding the horses

We had a wonderful Halloween!
We visited my grandparents and then took HG to Samford.
The sororities and fraternities were hosting a "Trick or Treat" for the faculty's children. HG enjoyed meeting some of my students. They were all so sweet to her!

Painting Pumpkins

A local church was hosting a carnival. They had ponies and horses, so we just HAD to go!!

HG was a pink poodle.
Thanks, Aunt Cathy, for the cute costume!

OK! She is not scared. She is just jumping in the bouncy thing. Greg took this pic and that it was sooooo great!

My "BIG GIRL"

HG is growing so fast!
Her new favorite phrases are, "I'm a big girl. I can do it myself!"
She is becoming very independent (which is good...right?!?).
I know that one morning I am going to wake up and she is going to be in college.
Time is going by way too fast!

Gymnastics

Hanging like a possum. Yes, they really call it that! LOL!
"L" Hang

HG loves gymnastics!
