SH loves the Little Mermaid. She wants her hair to be red sooo badly! :)

HG wanted to be a bride this year. I was not too thrilled about this. But she said, "I want to be bride, cause I want to be mommy. You have to be married to be mommy."

We went to a Trunk or Treat at a local church.

One of the tents had the "Princesses."

SH was "so cited!"

HG was not too happy about this! She kept looking at the ladies and refused to smile.

I hope it goes better in Disney World!

PaPa and NaNa went Trick or Treating with us.

I love the way HG is looking at Papa!

NaNa, the Girls, and I went to the Pumpkin Patch.

The Girls loved riding the horses, feeding the animals at the petting zoo, and riding the train.

Our church had the Fall Festival the same day.

We have a tradition of making a BIG mess with pumpkin guts.

Greg started working on the pumpkin. When he pulled out a hand full of guts, SH went running and screaming through the house.

We talked her into coming back.

She really enjoyed "watching" her Daddy get messy.

The girls wanted to have their hair rolled.

I remember when my mother would roll my hair.

I told the girls that they would have to sleep in the rollers and that it hurts.

(That was the part that I remembered)

They both giggled and said,"We try it!"

They were so happy!

Boxes?

These pics were taken on different days with different boxes.

HG and SH really enjoy playing with boxes.

I remember reading a book (as a child) about a young girl who had a refrigerator box.

She made it into a castle, a fort, tea party, etc. One of her friends tried to sabotage her precious box. But, each time she found another imaginative theme for the box.

I wish I knew the name of that book. Any ideas?

I think the girls would enjoy the story.

Helping Daddy

Greg starts back to school next week.

The girls and I went to help him with his classroom.

We were able to get a lot accomplished.

This was SH's first photo session. She loved being in front of the camera.

After pics, we went to Stix.

Another first for our girl!

She liked the food being cooked in front of her, but not the fire. She jumped and ran behind Greg.

Her favorite part of the meal was the chef. She flirted with him throughout the meal and it continued when he was at another table.
